Overview (TMDB): A Yorkshire coal mine is threatened with closure and the only hope is for the men to enter their Grimley Colliery Brass Band into a national competition. They believe they have no hope until Gloria appears carrying her Flugelhorn. At first mocked for being a woman, she soon becomes the only chance for the band to win.

maybe halfway through the film she takes a nice drag from a freshly lit cigarette that we don't know she has until she pulls it to her mouth. It's a night, outdoor scene. Later, she's smoking in a bar scene - though we don't get any really good close-ups of her.
