| Biography (TMDB): | Tara Anne Cassandra Fitzgerald (born 18 September 1967) is an English actress who has appeared in feature films, television, radio and the stage. Fitzgerald won the New York Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Play in 1995 as Ophelia opposite Ralph Fiennes in Hamlet. She won the Best Actress Award at The Reims International Television Festival in 1999 for her role of Lady Dona St. Columb in Frenchman's Creek. Fitzgerald’s most recent role has been in the West End production of The Misanthrope at the Comedy Theatre with Damian Lewis and Keira Knightley, and in Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll's House at the Donmar Warehouse. Since 2007, Fitzgerald has appeared in more than 30 episodes of the BBC television series Waking The Dead. I only saw the first four hours of this seven-hour miniseries, but in the first hour, Fitzgerald has a great light-up and talk-exhale. She also holds in a later scene. Mealing has three excellent scenes, featuring IRL inhales, exhales and talk-exhales in the first two, and deep inhales and exhales in the last scene. There probably is more smoking in the final three hours, if anyone can find this movie. |

maybe halfway through the film she takes a nice drag from a freshly lit cigarette that we don't know she has until she pulls it to her mouth. It's a night, outdoor scene. Later, she's smoking in a bar scene - though we don't get any really good close-ups of her. |

smokes in three scenes. In the first she lights up and has an extremely tiny snap inhale, and an exhale that's moderately visible. Second scene, she has a good light up with a snap inhale that's slightly larger than the first one, and then a double-pump inhale with a nice nose exhale where the smoke staggers out of her nostrils in spurts. In the third scene she only has part of an inhale with no exhale. |

The smoking by either actress is not the best. In the one sceen with Tara Fitzgerald shows her holding and getting ready to take a drag then cuts away. With Shirley Anne Field, she is trying to light her cigarette when David McCallum comes up. You see him holding out a lit lighter and someone (Shirley Anne Field ?) exhaling. You then see her with a lit cigarette which see holds for the remaining few seconds of the scean while walking away from the camera. |
