Just released from prison, Mitchell takes a non-filter from a glass cigarette box and strokes it lovingly before lighting it and blowing out the smoke with a look of pure ecstasy. Collins, another ex-con, is given a pack of Player's Medium Navy Cut as the first of her wedding presents, but we have to wait for a later scene before she actually smokes, accepting a cigarette and a light. Neither woman inhales, though.
