I haven't seen [it] in ages, but I do remember [Sommars], who played the part of Doreen Marshall, smoking in it. The outgoing character played by James Farrentino was trying to fix up his shy friend played by Brian Bedford with Julie Sommars' shy character Doreen Marshall, but Doreen ended up falling for the Farrentino character instead. In one scene, the Farrentino character gave Doreen a cigarette even though Bedford's character didn't smoke. I think Doreen said something like 'I smoke just to be sociable.' |
