Overview (TMDB): | The Stooges are dressed as Japanese soldiers for their job as magazine models. On their lunch break they go into a restaurant with their Japanese uniforms on, causing the proprietor to mistake them for the real thing, and a chase ensues. The boys fall through a trap door, and into a nest of Nazi spies where they are mistaken for "Naki", "Saki" and "Waki", three Japanese saboteurs. The Stooges try to act the part, including demonstrating acrobatics and jiu-jitsu to their hosts. When the real "Naki", "Saki" and "Waki" show up, the boys are exposed as impostors, but after a wild fight manage to capture all the Axis spies. |

In this short Moe, Larry and Curly are mistaken for Japanese spies by some covert German Agents. The 3 German women-spies [McIntyre, Flint, Malcolm] are all holding when the Stooges first meet them. A few seconds later, one of the non-Christine girls, [Malcolm] lets off a nice exhale... though it's off to the side and you have to be looking for it. As far as I know, this is the only episode where the very pretty McIntyre is seen with a cigarette. Also, if I got the actress right, Kelly Flint appears in several other stooge shorts and this might also be her sole smoking appearance. |
