Gaskell takes two cigarettes from a cigarette box and dangles briefly as she passes one to Pamela. The director cuts away, then back, and Gaskell can be seen lighting up with an an apparent inhale, then taking an uninhaled second drag. Both Gaskell and Pamela hold in a second scene. Claire accepts a cigarette and a light. Her first two puffs are unconvincing, but the third is a nice open-mouth inhale and talk-exhale
