Barclay drags and blows out so much smoke that initially it looks as though she has not inhaled, but she then empties her lungs, showing that she has. On a train, Gallagher accepts a cigarette and a light, but barely inhales. Later she once again accepts a cigarette and draws out a gentle inhale. Too gentle - her cigarette has to be relit!
