Overview (TMDB): | Laura Mansfield catches a glimpse of mob hit man Jackie Wales after he shoots her businessman father. At the police station, Laura identifies Jackie as the murderer, but the policeman in charge of the case, Lt. Brewster, lets him go, citing a lack of corroborating evidence. Outraged, Laura worms her way into the unsuspecting Jackie's heart, trying to snare him and mob-connected club owner Armitage in her trap. |

Cigarette girl Joyce taps her cigarette on the back of her hand before accepting a light - except she misses the flame! She also lights, but without inhaling, as she waits in a car, and is seen stubbing out in a third scene. Myrna is altogether more convincing - at least she inhales! She can be seen initially in long-shot taking two good drags, then closer up expelling a nice feather of smoke. She lights up a cigarette for her companion just 20 seconds after extinguishing her own, inhaling before passing it to him. A couple of double-pumps in two further scenes, plus an unlit talk-and-dangle, complete the scenario. |
