She is holding when she first appears, then drags and blows out a cloud of uninhaled smoke. In a second scene in which she is being interrogated she asks for one of her own roll-ups and accepts a light before it is snatched from her as it is realised that a secret message is written on the cigarette paper. Unperturbed, she asks for another cigarette, accepts a light, and exhales.
