| Biography (TMDB): | Jennifer Tilly (born Jennifer Ellen Chan; September 16, 1958) is an American actress and poker player. She is most recognised as Tiffany Valentine in the Child's Play franchise (1998–), a role for which she is recognized as an "icon" in the horror film community. Her first notable acting role was on the sitcom Shaping Up (1984), which she followed with her film debut in No Small Affair the same year. She is known for her distinctive voice and comedic timing. Tilly is a World Series of Poker Ladies' Event bracelet winner, the first celebrity to win a World Series tournament. She is the older sister of actress Meg Tilly. Tilly came to prominence when she received an Academy Award nomination for her portrayal of Olive Neal in Woody Allen's 1994 film Bullets over Broadway. She earned further acclaim, as well as Saturn Award and MTV Award nominations, for her performance in the Wachowskis' 1996 neo-noir thriller Bound. Her other film appearances include Let It Ride; The Fabulous Baker Boys (1989); Made in America (1993); The Getaway (1994); Edie & Pen; House Arrest (1996); Liar Liar (1997); Music from Another Room (1998); Stuart Little (1999); Dancing at the Blue Iguana (2000); The Cat's Meow; Monsters, Inc. (2001); The Haunted Mansion (2003); Home on the Range (2004); and Terry Gilliam's Tideland (2005). She is also known for providing the voice of Bonnie Swanson on the animated television series Family Guy (1999–present). Tilly was the recipient of a Theatre World Award in 1993 for her performance in the Off-Broadway play One Shoe Off. One of the best smoking movies I've ever seen. It takes a while before it kicks off, but when it does... Great shots of Alyssa smoking black cigarettes to Winston Select, great close-ups and french inhales. Charlotte lights a black cigarette that she hands to Alyssa (one of her character's 1st cigarette ever. She learns quickly). Jennifer Tilly also smokes in a scene and there's more background smoking. The director has to have the fetish! Embrace has a few scenes and several excellent ones at the later part of the film... |

Lyonne: Has a few scenes mostly in the first hour. There is one quick snap inhale and shorty after a brief dangle scene but because there are no closeups most exhales aren't too visible. Phillips has a lightup scene in a bar about an hour in which is followed by an additional inhale/exhale. Tilley who has mastered the art of not inhaling uses her smoking to attract attention in a bar early in the movie. This may be the sexiest actress ever to have tried to make herself look even sexier while smoking with drags that were never inhaled. Overall this movie looked alot more promising but didn't live up to it's potential. |

One review described Unger's character as a 'chain-smoking documentary filmmaker.' I wouldn't go that far, but she does smoke in several scenes. Lots of holding, one dangle, and a few good exhales, including memorable one in which she blows a thick stream out VERY slowly for about 5 seconds, like that memorable scene in Keys to Tulsa only without the rings. And she looks really hot, always wearing something black and sexy and sometimes a leather jacket. Tilly has a few scenes as well, occasionally using a holder. In one scene she lights up and takes a few drags while in a very intimate situation with a guy. As always, though, she never inhales. |
