Two or three matter-of-fact smoking scenes each for Watling and Pujalte in this breezy romantic comedy. Routine stuff, but Watling is so cute and engaging she's always worth watching. Sirova has two well-lit drags/exhales from a joint, with very thick and visible smoke. |

The willowy blonde Lopez really shines in this one. After we see her holding at the breakfast table in her first scene, she really goes at it in a restaurant about six minutes in, lighting up with flair at the beginning of the scene and taking 3 or 4 hard drags, with noisy inhales to her toes, as the scene continues. The lighting is terrific, highlighting both the drifting smoke from her cigarette and her forceful, lengthy, ultra-thick exhales. She has three other good scenes scattered throughout the film as well. Watling drags/exhales in a sunlit caf% and holds in bed in one brief scene with invisible smoke, but Lopez is the star of this show. Great stuff. |
