Biography (TMDB):	Katherine Elizabeth Vernon (born April 21, 1961) is a Canadian-born American actress. She is known for her roles as Lorraine Prescott on the CBS primetime soap opera Falcon Crest (from 1984–1985), the stuck-up and popular Benny Hanson in the comedy film Pretty in Pink (1986), Sophia in the 1992 Spike Lee film, Malcolm X, and Ellen Tigh in the 2004 Syfy series Battlestar Galactica.

I'm not certain that the actress is Gillian Gordon, because the character only appears briefly in one scene and isn't named in the script. There are only four women in the cast, so I selected her name by process of elimination. Anyway, the beautiful long-haired blonde pulls out what looks like a cheroot, accepts a light, and shows an excellent exhale in close-up. Those who like blondes and/or cheroots would appreciate this scene.
