She was 16 when she got a leading role with Luis Tosar in a Manuel Martín Cuenca movie, La flaqueza del bolchevique, she won the 2003 Goya Award for this role. She has also taken part in several films, such as Melissa P., a film based on the polemic book One Hundred Strokes of the Brush Before Bed by Melissa Panarello. The beautiful Maria Valverde, who was probably 15 during filming, has one scene. Seen from the side, she lights up and takes what seems like an experienced drag, but the film cuts away. When she's seen again, she may be just finishing her exhale, but it's hard to tell. In the same scene, Gayan only holds. The two of them exchange some trash talk of a sort in which they use sucking on a cigarette as a metaphor for sucking on something else. |
