| Biography (TMDB): | Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13, 1962) is an American actress. Following her film debut in 1983's Bad Boys, she became known as one of the Brat Pack group of actors and starred in WarGames (1983), The Breakfast Club (1985) and Short Circuit (1986). For her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998), Sheedy won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. |

In the first, Sheedy portrays herself and smokes a ton, with a few good inhales/exhales, while Bateman and another actress whose name I missed have their moments. In the second and third scenes, Sciorra smokes continuously using a holder, but the lighting is such that little smoke is seen. |

Near the end, one scene with Sheedy sitting at a table indoors. First is an inhale that's cut off before completion; second is a strong inhale with a talk-exhale, though it's filmed from straight on, so it's not easy to see much. Third is another fierce inhale with an exhale that's less-than-moderately visible. Overall could have been better but not bad. |

A colossal disappointment. Despite the fact that the male characters in this movie smoke incessantly, Sheedy only smokes once and Sarah Wynter not at all, in spite of the fact that the movie's script (available on the DVD release) calls for her character to smoke. Sheedy only has one drag and exhale. |

She is shown smoking about 15 times in almost every scene she is in. As an added bonus she is one of the main characters and the emphasis seems to be on her smoking. There are many drags and numerous exhales including a well lit excellent exhale shot in profile about a half hour in. She has other movies but this by far is the best. Don't miss this if you know who this actress is and if you are a fan of hers this movie is a must see. |
