Biography (TMDB):	Joana Preiss (born 22 May 1972) is a French actress, director, singer, and performer. Joana Preiss has starred in the films of Christophe Honoré, Olivier Assayas, Nobuhiro Suwa and Pia Marais, and has also collaborated with Nan Goldin in her works. She has also worked with Ugo Rondinone, Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster and Céleste Boursier-Mougenot. She has performed on stage in the shows of Pascal Rambert and Eleanor Weber. She was trained in classical singing and contemporary music, and regularly performs in concerts. She founded the duo White Tahina with Vincent Epplay, Hiroyuki, and Frédéric Danos, in which she sings poems by Hölderlin. In 2011 she directed her first film Sibérie. Couldn't wait to see this one, since it pairs hall-of-famers Asia Argento and Olivier Assayas, the director who gave us Irma Vep, Demonlover, Clean, and Late August, Early September. Alas, while it's worth a rent, it doesn't quite live up to expectations. Argento does have a couple of very good scenes, with multiple drags and exhales, including one into a guy's face, but it's nowhere near the standard set by either her or Assayas's earlier films. Lin and Preiss each have a brief scene, but neither look IRL and I don't think either inhales.

Preiss lights up on an outdoor train platform, but the better scene is later in a car with up-close shots of drags and exhales. Pisier smokes well in two scenes with lots of drags and exhales. El Zein smokes very well in one scene with an excellent nose-mouth exhale. Butaud smokes once in bed
