In the trailer for this biopic of the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, Hayek, in a close-up profile shot, dangles a cigarette from her lips as a beautifully lit exhale flows from her mouth and nostrils. Looks to have been inhaled, too, a first for her onscreen as far as I've seen. Kahlo herself was a heavy smoker, so let's hope there's more, although that's all I saw. I also caught a brief glimpse of Ashley Judd possibly holding, although I couldn't say for sure.

The beautiful Maestro lights up a joint a few times in the car but doesn't appear to inhale because usually no smoke comes out of her mouth. The one time we do see a visible exhale she coughs immediately afterward. After bring kidnapped later in the film, she asks one of her abductors for [a] hit off a joint, causing the other men to exclaim, 'The chicks smokes, man!' She takes a drag but once again there's no exhale. My guess is she's not IRL but boy, she looks good trying. has a couple of nice drags and exhales
