| Biography (TMDB): | From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Isabella Ferrari (born 31 March 1964), is the stage name of Isabella Fogliazza, an Italian actress of television, theatre and the cinema. She is best known as the protagonist, Commissioner Giovanna Scalise in the police drama series Distretto di Polizia (Police District) and Distretto di Polizia 2 (Police District 2) which was televised on Mediaset's Canale 5 from 2000 to 2001. At the 1995 Venice Film Festival she won a Volpi Cup award for Best Supporting Actress in the film Romanzo di un giovane povero. Angiolini has several scenes scattered throughout, the best for my money being the first, after she takes a guy's cigarette in a mirrored bathroom. He says he thought she quit and she says, 'I did, I'm just testing,' before taking a lusty drag with a voluminous exhale (then doing two lines of coke). One more great drag in that scene but then the director cuts before the exhale. And she's lying about having quit, as subsequent scenes demonstrate. Ferrari, who has Michelle Pfeiffer's mouth, has one scene with a good drag but no exhale shown. |
