Movies
Dirty Deeds
smokingsides
Collette smokes in four scenes, with only one decent inhale/exhale from a profile view. In 2 of the 4 scenes, Collette only holds. Morassi smokes in two scenes; in the first she only puts an unlit cigarette in her mouth; in the second she has 3 or 4 inhales/exhales, but only of which can you really see. |
Hey Hey It's Esther Blueburger
smokingsides
Castle-Hughes smokes only once, but it's a nice moment - a close-up profile shot in which she lights up, inhales well and exhales nicely, if slightly quickly. Her drag comes in the form of a tribute to her deceased mother during a seance with several other teenage girls. After she takes the drag, she passes the cigarette to her mother's spirit (or something like that). There's also some early brief talking about smoking between two other girls (who aren't shown smoking) and Toni Collette is shown starting to light up in a wide shot. |
Little Miss Sunshine
smokingsides
Smokes cork-tipped while driving early on in the movie, one inhale, then throws out the cigarette when her husband asks over the phone if she is smoking. In another scene, she sneaks one outside a motel room while everyone is sleeping, has a good drag and a moderately visible exhale. Looks good though. |
The Boys
smokingsides
She is only in the first half of the movie but makes good use of her time smoking in 6 scenes. There are 2 good exhales overall and a good light up scene which because of a continuality error is enhanced because it is shown from 3 different angles. She seems very comfortable smoking here as in most of her previous films and has me convinced she is IRL. |
