She smokes at least twice and possibly more often. In one scene, she smokes with a holder, pensively, as another woman says something like 'And that holder . . . you're a femme fatale.' Corrine gives the impression that she doesn't quite inhale but she does produce impressive wafts and sort of french inhales in well-filmed close-ups. Dark side fans will enjoy a scene near the end when, after being treated submissively throughout the film, she wonders out loud to her man about how much he could stand if the tables were turned, then takes a drag on her cigarette and dramatically puts it out on his wrist or arm, holding it there and watching him suffer. |
