| Biography (TMDB): | Lindy Booth (born April 2, 1979) is a Canadian actress who currently resides in Los Angeles, California. She's best known for playing Riley Grant on the Disney Channel series The Famous Jett Jackson (and Agent Hawk in the show-within-a-show Silverstone) and Claudia on Relic Hunter. She also portrayed A.J. Butterfield on the NBC series The Philanthropist. Other credits include guest starring as different characters in two 2002 episodes of the A&E Network series A Nero Wolfe Mystery ("Before I Die" and Poison a la Carte"), and a recurring role in season two of the USA Network series The 4400. She also starred as Dodger Allen in the 2005 movie Cry Wolf, as Nicole in the 2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead, and had a small part in Wrong Turn with Eliza Dushku. She appears in Dark Honeymoon. In addition, she has guest starred in TV shows such as CSI: NY and Ghost Whisperer. She also played Stephanie Goodison on Syfy's Warehouse 13 and portrayed Lana Turner in 2001's Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows. Booth was born in Oakville, Ontario and attended T. A. Blakelock High School, graduating in 1998 prior to beginning her film career. Lindy has one nice scene in which she lights up and smokes with a holder, looking quite glamorous. It's mainly in profile, although she turns towards the camera one time. We see the light-up, two inhales and one exhale which seems quite proficient. On a slightly different note, Mia Kirshner smokes once, in bed with a lover. It's a very dark scene, but there's one nice fairly close shot of her inhaling and exhaling. She seems to be inhaling a bit more deeply than in some of her earlier films, taking longer drags and showing more visible smoke on her exhales, but she still seems like one of those actresses who may not smoke IRL but who have learned to smoke well enough to do a passable job in the movies. |

[Booth] smokes in every scene she's in in this movie. Cigarettes, weed, and other assorted drugs. Unfortunately, while we see her light up quite a bit the camera has a nasty habit of cutting away before the actual inhale, let alone the exhale. A couple of decent inhales in one scene, but nothing like it could've been! Booth smokes cigarettes in two scenes and crack pipes in two scenes. She looks IRL. Litz smokes cigarettes in 3 scenes. She also looks IRL. |

OK, but could have been much better. Scenes sprinkled throughout the movie, but none are that great. Right at the beginning there are scenes with Booth, Spencer-Nairn, and Clavell. Booth has a lightup and two or three inhales with a few decent exhales. Spencer-Nairn holds mostly, but has a lightup in long shot, another inhale and one exhale. Clavell has one drag with a weak exhale. Twenty minutes in, a cigar scene with Booth and Clavell. Two drags and 1 good exhale from Booth. A drag and weak exhale from Clavell. Around midway, Booth has a lightup and a good exhale. Following a wedding, we see all three holding, but only one inhale with a decent exhale from Clavell. A little later, Clavell has a nice inhale outside, but you can't see the exhale due to the background. Two thirds in, Booth has another lightup, an additional inhale and an ok exhale. Spencer-Nairn holds mainly in the movie but does have a scene near the end outside with two inhales/exhales, one closeup. The three also hold cigars right at the end. Sutchy enters the movie briefly around an hour in. One nice drag, but no exhale. Later has a lightup, but you dont really see much as the camera cuts away. |

Two early scenes for Booth. Smokes weed in the first with 1 strong drag, but scene cuts away before the exhale. Second scene she lights up a cig with a nice drag, but she doesnt give much of an exhale. Shortly after, she has another strong inhale, but scene cuts away again before the exhale. On the Eliza Dushku featurette on the DVD, there is a shot behind the scenes where Booth has a drag on a cigarette and then throws it away. In the Behind the scenes extra, there is a quick shot from behind of Chriqui holding a cigarette while on the set. |
