Biography (TMDB):	Seema Biswas is an Indian actress who works in Hindi and Bengali films and the theatre. She came to prominence with the role of Phoolan Devi in Shekhar Kapur's 1995 film Bandit Queen, for which she won the National Film Award for Best Actress.

Biswas and Kazmi, playing a veteran police officer and a seasoned criminal, respectively, both smoke pretty well a few times. Sadly, the film's beautiful lead actress does not smoke, even though her role, 'the innocent young woman unfairly sent to prison who toughens up and comes out looking for revenge,' has often, in other such films, included starting to smoke while in jail.
