| Biography (TMDB): | From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Anne Baxter (May 7, 1923 – December 12, 1985) was an American actress, star of Hollywood films, Broadway productions, and television series. She won an Academy Award and a Golden Globe, and was nominated for an Emmy. In 1947, Baxter won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Sophie MacDonald in The Razor's Edge (1946). In 1951, she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress for the title role in All About Eve (1950). Baxter was the granddaughter of architect Frank Lloyd Wright. |

She accepts a cigarette and a light, takes a heavy drag, and sucks the smoke down noisily. She puts that single drag to good use too: she exhales a fair amount through her mouth, then emits thick twin jets from her nostrils, and still has enough left for smoke to be clinging to her breath as she talks. In another scene, she exhales and stubs out in front of a mirror, giving a dual perspective. Both scenes are sadly very short. |

She smokes throughout but her hair doesn't do it for me in this one. All the smoking scenes come in the last forty minutes. She initially appears showing plenty of cleavage as she drags and appears to pick tobacco from her tongue, following up with four more hits, though the director cuts away on two occasions. There is a lighting scene in a bar with a solid drag and inhale and she licks her lips in appreciation after a voluminous exhale. She later rejects a gold-tipped brown cigarette in favour of an all-white non-filter as in other scenes and smoke can be seen curling through her cigarette as she holds it after lighting. There is a further scene holding. |
